Course Description:

The objective of this subprogram is to prepare the students who are interested to immigrate to Canada under the Canadian Express Entry Visa to become the Permanent Resident (PR) in Canada. NSRIC and its subsidiary, NSRIC International School in Toronto (NIST) offer this subprogram to facilitate PR opportunity in Canada who wanted to develop and enhance their skills in the occupation of related to marketing management. The minimum requirement for this subprogram is Grade 12 or General Educational Development (GED) certificate. The subprogram is designed under two courses where 20 contact hours are required. They are foundational and intermediate levels. Student will get certificate for each level. The course(s) are delivered through live online session(s) by the instructor(s) or self-study through NSRIC online platform.

Retail salespersons and visual merchandisers are largely responsible for maintaining client relationships.

 

The course begins with an overview of what marketing is and why it is vital, then moves on to the principles of each of the many marketing activities. The importance of customer focus, market analysis, and opportunity identification are dissected. Next, the impact of market data on consumer behavior is evaluated. The training also discusses the necessity of integrating product and service decisions with pricing, distribution, and advertising. Through lectures, case studies, and virtual interactive exercises, students will acquire the skills and knowledge that will prepare them for a range of marketing-related professions in the industry. In addition, students will comprehend the ethical and legal aspects involved in marketing management in Canada. This program is appropriate for students who are interested in pursuing a career in marketing in Canada or who wish to obtain a deeper understanding of the importance of marketing in any firm throughout the globe.

Dr. Adenike Aderonke Moradeyo (adenikem@nsric.ca) is a Senior Faculty and Head, Department of Business Administration at NSRIC Inc., London, Ontario, Canada. She is also an Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Business Administration, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos. Nigeria. Her research interests straddle operations management, supply chain management, innovation management, performance management, entrepreneurship, sustainability management, project management and economics.


Dr. Moradeyo obtained her PhD in Management from the prestigious Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University in 2015. She was engaged in an exchange programme at IESE, University of Navarra, Barcelona, Spain in 2009. She earned BSc and MSc in Agric. Economics and Economics respectively from the premier University in Nigeria, University of Ibadan in 2002 and 2006 respectively. She has to her credit best-in-session paper and outstanding research awards. She is a certified project management professional (PMP). She served as the pioneer Head of Economics Department (Acting) and Senate member at Augustine University, Lagos, Nigeria where she led her team to achieve the full BSc degree programme accreditation in 2018. She has work experience in consulting, research, manufacturing and financial institution such as Access Bank Plc, Frigoglass Nigeria, MBC Ltd, MRA Ltd and Air Liquide Nigeria.


Dr. Moradeyo has publications in diverse formats in different prestigious journals and conference proceedings such as British Academy of Management (BAM), Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), Global Conference on Business and Finance (GCBF), International Journal of Risk and Contingency Management (IJRCM), International Journal of Services and Operations Management (IJSOM), Africa Academy of Management (AFAM), Journal of Operations and Supply Chain Management (JOSCM), Decision Science Institute (DSI) annual conference,   Africa Academy of Management (AFAM) and others.
