
Ms. Awominure Alice Ajoke
Ms. Awominure Alice Ajoke (awominurea@nsric.ca) is a Lecturer in area of Chemical Engineering in Engineering Unit of OE Division, NSRIC. She is also the Country Manager (Marketing) for Nigeria at Marketing Department, NSRIC. She is the lead strategist of the Pathfinders group, a startup agribusiness with the vision to end malnutrition in Nigeria by providing whole-meal for everyone, with a focus protein-rich product (cowpea, Honey beans). Ms. Awominure being career oriented is currently working as a Graduate assistant in the Department of Chemical Engineering at University of Calabar, Cross River, Nigeria (UNICAL). Prior to this, Ms. Awominure worked as a Service Executive at First Bank Nigeria Plc., Production Manager at Bread and More Limited also as Engineering Intern at the Ministry of Water Resources and Environment, Makurdi. Earlier on in 2013, she worked with the Pipeline and Products Marketing Company (PPMC) a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), NNPC Towers, Abuja as an Intern. Ms. Awominure obtained her first degree in Chemical Engineering From the prestigious Landmark University and she is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Akwa-Ibom State University (AKSU), Akpaden Nigeria.Â

She is professionally affiliated with the following organizations as an active member: International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Council for the regulation of Engineers in Nigeria (COREN), Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), and Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (NSCHE). Her research areas of interest include research and development, teaching and mentoring, and sustainable energy development.
