Kaloutie Dixie Rampersad
Kaloutie Dixie Rampersad (email@example.com) is the Business Development Manager in Admin Unit of CEO Office. She is also the Professor of Practice in area of International Business and Trade at Commerce and Management (COM) Unit of OE Division, NSRIC. Dixie has been a Past president of the Caribbean Institute of Certified Management Consultants (CICMC) Trinidad and Tobago Chapter (2019)and has also served on the board as an ordinary director for 1 year. She was appointed as an ordinary director to TTCSI‘s board for the period June 2015-June 2016 and during that time has been the chairperson of services week 2015 and sought to improve some of the areas of National Services week by focusing on the needs of our stakeholders. She has also been the chairperson of the membership committee and has suggested policies, outreach activities to benefit our members. She has worked extensively with the public sector and private sector in development programmes in energy , services and non-oil sectors.
She has considerable experience in project managing economic development programmes with an MPhil in international trade and finance. Dixie, acted in the capacity as Chief Executive Office for the Trinidad and Tobago Financial Centre. Before that she has been actively involved over the past fifteen (15) years in various aspects of sector development initiatives ranging from sector development programmes, trade and investment promotion, investor targeting and project and program management.
She has developed a number of marketing/outreach programmes for agribusiness, printing & packaging, ICT sectors and energy services and assisted with the development of key strategies to support business development. She has proactively encouraged foreign investors to invest in Trinidad and Tobago directly or through partnerships. She has also monitored and evaluated a number of Trinidad and Tobago government support programs in the non-oil sector as well as regional initiatives in the areas of business development.
Her main area of interest is ensuring that developing countries undertake pre-investment studies; investment and export programs for proposed sector development and assuring that the executed projects contribute to the economic development of the country. She has also worked with a number of regional public sector entities, regional bodies and multilateral lending agencies to attract funding for the sectors.
