Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam
Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam (email@example.com) is the Junior Faculty in Pharmacy at Medical Science and Healthcare (MSH) Unit of OE Division, NSRIC. Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam is an Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacy, University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) Chattogram, Bangladesh. He has more than 14 years industrial and teaching experience. He is holding different academic and administrative positions in University of science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) such as Chairman, Central Admission Committee, Member of University Research Cell, Member of Proctorial Board and also Editorial board member of University Journal USTA. He worked as Chemist in water base division of Olympic Paints Limited and also Laboratory Executive of Confidence Salt Limited, Bangladesh. Dr. Shahidul has successfully completed Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) under the Department of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh in 2019. He earned a B. Sc. (Honors) in Chemistry in 2006 and M.S. in Physical Chemistry in 2008 from University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. This philosopher authored a book on unplanned industrialization at the cost of Environmental Degradation published by Mantech publication, India. In his book, Dr. Shahidul has focused on biophysical properties of samples polluted by unplanned industrialization in terms of Effluent Treatment Plant efficiency, availability and the current scenario of water and also air pollution by industrial discharges in order to build public awareness and its influence on public health.
Dr. Shahidul authored/co authored over 70+ research articles in high index international Journals. He is the prestigious editorial board member of Universal Journal of Pharmaceutical Research, Journal of Advances in Pharmacy Practice and Journal of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Formulation. His field of specialization is Analytical chemistry, quality control of drugs, Compound isolation and identification, drug -drug interaction, Environmental Degradation and climate change.
Dr. Shahidul has been serving in the Department of Pharmacy, University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) Bangladesh with utmost sincerity, honesty, dedication, and commitment and also due diligence. Moreover his contribution in quality control of samples and also in industrial sector for many initiatives of controlling environmental pollution is absolutely significance and appreciable.
