
Dr. Tawfiq Jaber
Dr. Tawfiq Jaber is distinguished faculty in the department of Mechanical Engineering of NSRIC online education division and a lead researcher of the RID division. Dr. Jaber has more than 15 year experience in teaching engineering and sciences courses especially in the area of thermal and energy sciences in different universities and institutions. Dr. Jaber also has experience in higher education administration, curriculum development and quality assurance.
Soon after his PhD, Dr. Jaber worked as research scientist at Ryerson University, Canada in the field of thermofluids and energy. The project was funded by the Canadian Space Agency and involved collaborations of researchers and engineers from the European Space Agency. In 2011 he relocated to the UAE and worked as full-time faculty in mechanical and Industrial engineering department at the Alhosn University. Dr. Jaber holds a PhD and Master in Mechanical Engineering, both from Ryerson University, Canada, a Master in Mechanical Engineering and B.Sc in Aeronautical Engineering, both from University of Technology, Baghdad. His current research interests are in the area of nanofluids, heat and mass transfer, PEM fuel Cell, material and environmental sciences. Dr. Jaber has published more than 30 journal and conference papers.
