
Dr. Tooraj Yousefi
Dr. Tooraj Yousefi (toorajy@nsric.ca) is a Senior Faculty in area of Mechanical Engineering at Engineering Unit of OE Division, NSRIC. Dr. Yousefi is an adjunct professor at Ryerson University teaching in the field of Mechanical Engineering. At Ryerson, he is associate member of the Yeates School of Graduate Studies. His past affiliations has led he to 25 years of teaching experience in various universities including Ryerson University, University of Tehran, and Razi University. Dr. Yousefi has published 52 ISI papers and 43 international conference papers. Additionally, he has received the Best Paper Award for a paper published in Renewable Energy. Dr. Yousefi has been training graduate students and conducting new research in the field of optical interferometry for Thermodiffusion measurement and Nanofluid heat transfer. Since the successful inception of this research activity, he has managed to increase the visibility of this new area of research at the Ryerson University and attract industrial interest to the Nanofluid heat transfer and energy saving. This experience opened up opportunities for he to begin a common project between the industries and Ryerson University.
