
Dr. Shakirudeen Salaudeen
Dr. Shakirudeen Salaudeen (shakirudeens@nsric.ca) is the Junior Faculty in area of Mechanical Engineering at Engineering Unit of OE Division, NSRIC. He is also a Marketing Executive at Marketing Division, NSRIC. He was awarded PhD in the field of Carbon dioxide capture and utilization from the University of Guelph, Canada. He earned his MSc (Mechanical) from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia and BSc (Mechanical) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Nigeria. Dr Salaudeen is a  Mechanical Engineering graduate and researcher with a strong background in Thermofluidic systems applicable to clean and renewable energy, thermochemical conversion, power generation and sustainability. Proficient in process analysis and simulation, energy auditing, statistical analysis, lean six sigma application, and environmental assessments. A diligent individual with excellent written and oral communication, teaching, organizational, leadership, teamwork, critical and analytical thinking skills. He has expertise in designing of experiments, analysis on elemental, proximate, combustion, thermogravimetric, colorimetric, porosity, and specific surface area. In addition, he has full training on Differential Scanning Calorimetry, Scanning Electron Microscopy, and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy etc.
