
Dr. Shakirudeen Salaudeen
Dr. Shakirudeen Salaudeen is the junior faculty of NSRIC online education platform and one of the researchers of RID division. He was awarded PhD in the field of Carbon dioxide capture and utilization from the University of Guelph, Canada. He earned his MSc (Mechanical) from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia and BSc (Mechanical) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Nigeria. Dr Salaudeen is a Mechanical Engineering graduate and researcher with a strong background in Thermofluid systems applicable to clean and renewable energy, thermochemical conversion, power generation and sustainability. Proficient in process analysis and simulation, energy auditing, statistical analysis, lean six sigma application, and environmental assessments. A diligent individual with excellent written and oral communication, teaching, organizational, leadership, teamwork, critical and analytical thinking skills. He has expertise in designing of experiments, analysis on elemental, proximate, combustion, thermogravimetric, colorimetric, porosity, and specific surface area. In addition, he has full training on Differential Scanning Calorimetry, Scanning Electron Microscopy, and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy etc.

Dr Salaudeen authored 20+ scientific articles and published them in different journals and conference proceedings. He was the recipient of OMAFRA Highly Qualified Personnel (HQP) Scholarship for 2016 – 2019.
