Mr. A.R.M. Masud is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in CEO Office, NSRIC. He is also the Professor of Practice in the area of Accounting of Commerce and Management Unit of OE Division, NSRIC. Mr. Masud earned his Chartered Accountant (CA) degree from KPMG/Rahman Rahman Huq, Bangladesh. He was awarded the prestigious Burmah Eastern Scholarship for his Chartered accountancy study. In addition to his CA degree, he was awarded CIMA degree from the UK in 1995. Currently, he is working as a Financial and Investment consultant and a Director of Aviva Finance Limited (formerly Reliance Finance Limited), Bangladesh. He has over 40+ years of working experience in different financial institutions. He is a certified specialist in Accounts, Finance, Marketing, Human resources, Auditing, Corporate law, Taxation and Investment planning. He served many multinational and national organizations globally which include Heidelberg cement Bangladesh as Chief Accountant for 7 years, Industrial Development Corporation of Zambia for 7 years as Chief Accountant and Finance Director including 5 years in Zambia Oxygen Limited, former subsidiary of British Oxygen. He served Quasem Group of Industries for 5 years as Group Financial Controller. He worked for Nicholas Bangladesh, British American Tobacco, National Tea companies for a short period of time. He took part in the privatization program of the Zambian Government and worked with Zambia Privatization Authority. Further, he worked with the World Bank and successfully achieved a deal of Management Buyout for the employees of a government company. He was awarded 20 percent shares in the company as a recognition of his achievement.
His notable contribution to mankind is the introduction of a low cost fund (foreign financing) for Local large groups called DBL. He attended various seminars and training on Accounting and reporting in Belgium, Singapore and as well as in Bangladesh.
