Dr. Marzyeh Moazenzadeh is the Head of Department (HoD) in the area of Dermatology. She is also the Distinguished Faculty in Dermatology at Medical Science and Healthcare Unit of OE Division. Dr. Marzyeh Moazenzadeh has over 25 years of extensive experience as a Dermatologist and Traditional Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture practitioner in both clinical and research sectors. She has worked in a variety of international organizations and institutions such as IHD Hospital in Dubai, Women’s College Hospital in Toronto, SimcoDerm Centre in Ontario, IK Capital Hospital in Tehran, Eight Branches Clinic, Elite College in Toronto as a physician, clinician, researcher, educator, adviser, etc. She has also trained medical interns and Dermatology residents for the last few years. Dr. Moazenzadeh is an International Medical graduate and Dermatologist from Tehran University of Medical Science. She is also a Board-certified TCM (traditional Chinese Medicine) and Acupuncturist in Canada. She also has many Certifications from York University, Ryerson University, Humber College in integrative acupuncture and medical circle, laser treatment of skin disorders, TCM, ITMD etc. Dr. Moazenzadeh has also been very active in the research sector, published papers in prestigious journals such as Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD), and attended/presented in conferences and seminars around the world e.g. EADV, AAD. She is an active Member of European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), and College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario. Dr. Moazenzadeh is very experienced in different treatment techniques in Dermatology and related local surgery, cryotherapy, laser treatment and cosmetic techniques.
She has also been very active in bridging the Western and Eastern Medicines together through identifying new treatments for various Skin and Body Disorders through TCM, Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine.
