Dr. Jinnat Fatema Saira Safa is the Head of Department (HoD) in Internal Medicine. She is also a Distinguished Faculty in area of Internal Medicine at Medical Science and Healthcare Unit of OE Division, NSRIC. Dr. Jinnat is also an established and highly skilled consulting physician, Assistant Professor, and researcher at the Chattogram Ma, Shishu O General Hospital, Bangladesh. Dr Jinnat obtained her MD Cardiology degree from Chittagong Medical College and her fellowship in Internal Medicine at Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons. She has extensive experience as a medical practitioner of Internal Medicine and Cardiology, as well as a lecturer to undergraduate and postgraduate students. This dedicated physician has participated and organized multiple international and national seminars, symposiums, and conferences. Her current research interests include investigating incidence and management of deep vein thrombosis in patients with malignancy, chemotherapy induced cardiomyopathy in cancer patients, and patterns of ECG changes in RT PCR positive Covid patients at a tertiary hospital of Bangladesh.
